In the famous Hollywood-land, nearly every single celebrity is in great shape, whether they are using a fabulous diet or following a crazy workout regime, there always seems to be something that is being done regarding body weight and shape. How many times have the paparazzi snapped a pic of your favorite actor leaving the gym? But sometimes even those in Hollywood take it up a notch, reaching fitness levels that are unquestionably out of this world. Here are 10 celebrities that are totally muscular, and saw great fame. Maybe some of them became famous because of their body shape, or maybe that was just a bonus. Whatever the case may be, they are definitely 10 of the fittest in Hollywood.
Kellan Lutz
The 29 year-old model and actor got his big break when he was cast to play Emmet Cullen in Twilight, after which his career took off. But Google his name, and "Kellan Lutz workout" is the second hit to appear. Men's Health featured the buff actor's workout on the web and he's been on the cover of Men's Fitness, too. Needless to say, he's built –and we don't mind it when he takes his shirt off.
Chris Evans
Captain America star and overall hunk Chris Evans isn't shy about showing off his muscles on screen and it's one of the reasons why we love him. Just like Kellan Lutz, people are Googling Evans' workout regime often, because the 33 year-old actor's body is definitely something to aspire to. He's built, buff and beautiful, and his Captain America workout regime has been featured on Men's Fitness and Men's Health. Boys, take note.
Hugh Jackman
Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman might be 45, but his body hasn't caught up just yet. The Australian actor's as toned as can be, which is a given when playing a role like Wolverine. Thankfully, his workouts have hit the web, with tons of sites posting about how Jackman gets in shape for his roles, which just so happen to have him shirtless quite often. We're not complaining.
Mark Wahlberg
Mark Wahlberg's muscles are still looking as good as they did when he was modelling for Calvin Klein back in the early 1990s. The singer, model and successful actor is no stranger to showing some skin on screen and letting those abs breathe. At 43 years-old, and as a father of four, his workout regime is clearly paying off because his buff physique doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
Tom Hardy
When you get chosen to play the memorable role of Bane, in The Dark Night Rises, it's a given you've got to be buff. And buff Tom Hardy certainly is. The English actor, whose 36, has played many roles where his body has had to be at its peak. He has appeared in movies such as Warrior, where he played an MMA fighter. His body's so in shape that his workout regime is everywhere online, and like many of the other Hollywood stars on this list, it's one of the actor's top hits on Google. We certainly don't blame anyone for wanting to look as good as Hardy. In fact, we totally encourage it.
Terry Crews
We might know him best from White Chicks or Bridesmaids but that's only because Terry Crews was probably the most buff (and one of the funniest) on screen. The actor's no stranger to fitness, however, having played professional football until 1997 for teams such as the Los Angeles Rams, the Washington Redskins and the San Diego Chargers. After retirement, he pursued a career in acting and landed roles in some of our favorite movies (and in Old Spice commercials, too) where he's showed off his muscular physique on more than one occasion.
Lou Ferrigno
Lou Ferrigno, or should I say, "The Hulk" definitely deserves his spot on this list. The now 62 year old actor has had his fair share of Hollywood attention. Although he was seen in several movies and is mainly known for his role in the popular CBS TV series, The Incredible Hulk, Lou was a trained professional body consultant and bodybuilder. He even finished fourth when participating in 'The World's Strongest Man' competition in 1977. Even though he may not be trending as a Hollywood hunk today, he surely defines what being fit really means. Recently, Lou was a contestant on the fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice and was the voice-over for the Hulk in The Avengers, along with its sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Sylvester Stallone
There is no doubt that Sylvester Stallone is a Hollywood legend, especially when it comes to muscles. Most people will remember Sylvester for his iconic roles as Rambo and Rocky. It was said that when he was preparing for his roles in the Rambo II sequel and the Rocky II sequel, he was introduced to the former Mr. Olympia, Franco Columbu and looked to his training and eating programs to look at his best in both films. Although Sylvester Stallone is mostly remembered for those two roles, he has appeared in films like Lock Up, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, Driven and recently, The Expendables and its two sequels.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't just the governor of California at one time; the 66 year-old actor was once a body builder, starting as a young teenager. He went on to compete professionally at a young age, winning Mr. Olympia seven times (he won his first at 23, holding the record for the youngest winner ever), as well as several other competitions. He also wrote a monthly column for Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazine. Though he's now retired from competing, his legacy still remains through the annual Arnold Classic bodybuilding competition. But bodybuilding wasn't all he wanted to do; Schwarzenegger transitioned to acting in 1970, when he was chosen to play Hercules in Hercules in New York. From there, he went to play in films such as Conan the Barbarian and of course, The Terminator.
Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, is one of the most buff men in Hollywood, but that's probably because he started his career in the WWE, where he performed from 1996 to 2004. But before that, he was already in pretty good shape, having played college football at the university of Miami and then professionally for the Calgary Stampedes, though that stint was short lived. Today, he plays in Hollywood blockbusters (watch out for him shirtless, and beyond buff, in Hercules this summer) alongside some of Hollywood's finest actresses, and even a model or two; in his upcoming flick, he plays alongside Cristiano Ronaldo's supermodel girlfriend, Irinia Shayk. There's no doubt this 6'5, 260 pound actor is one of Hollywood's most built.
