Little Big Town's hit song, "Girl Crush", has been splashed across the air waves, to the point that everyone is using the term to describe how girls can have crushes on other women without necessarily feeling sexually stimulated.
But what about boy crushes? Most men don't like to admit it, but we know there are a few celebrities out there who can make a man break down with envy or make them want to emulate their heroes. There are surely more than 11 admirable male celebrities, but to keep it manageable we selected the top 11 who deserve some applause from both men and women. They are more than solid gold in their careers; they are superstars because of having multiple talents and abilities that allows them to turn straw into gold for everything they touch.
The best part about this group is that they seem to be so down-to-earth and very human, which makes them very likable and not the elitist celebrities of yesteryear. They exude humility, yet are powerful and have a knack for making great choices in their jobs and their lives. Who doesn't love and respect Jay Z is the real question. He went from being Shawn Corey Carter to Jay Z, one of the world's most well-known, best-selling rappers in the world. He has received 21 Grammy Awards, but his list of accomplishments does not end there.
Jay Z went on to become a record producer and savvy investor. He owns the 40/40 Club, the clothing line Rocawear, founded Roc Nation Sports - a sports agency - and is a certified NBA and MLB sports agent. If that wasn't enough, he is married to one of the most beautiful and talented female vocalists, Beyonce. What man wouldn't look up to a rags-to-riches maverick like Jay Z?
10. Lebron James
LeBron James is arguably the best NBA American basketball player and is currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, returning to his home team after leaving to play for the Miami Heat. His accolades include two NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, two NBS Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals, an NBA scoring title and the NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
Although James was a bit disliked, particularly in Cleveland when he made the decision to move over to the Miami team, he made up for it when he returned. This legend has been one busy athlete who is well-loved and respected.
9. Leonardo DiCaprio
Young Leonardo Di Caprio had such a baby face in Titanic, the movie that really made him a star. Even though he had acted in a few television series and movies, like This Boy's Life, the world knew his name after playing Jack in Titanic.
His stardom grew, as he was selected to star in other hits like The Man in the Iron Mask, Catch Me If You Can, The Aviator, The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street. He has won plenty of awards, is a strong environmentalist and is considered to be one of the entertainment industry's movers and shakers. He's also made a name for himself as a ladies man.

Of course George Clooney would be on this list as he is loved by everyone. His handsome good looks, charm, grace and philanthropic leadership has put him in the most respected category. He has received three Golden Globes, two Academy Awards and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards.
The television program, ER, gave him his real start and then he switched over to the big screen with Batman & Robin. It was Ocean's Eleven that thrilled audiences everywhere and brought him greater fame. He is rarely talked about negatively in the media and overall is considered a class act, having a place in the upper echelon with stars like Cary Grant.
7. Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm is mostly noted for his long running role as an advertising executive in Mad Men. His talent as an actor, director and television producer is noted by all in the entertainment industry. He has been nominated for 12 Emmys, won a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and several additional accolades.
One of the most interesting things about Hamm is that he almost didn't make it in Hollywood. After visiting friend Paul Rudd in Los Angeles he decided to move permanently with his sights set on becoming a star. By age 29 he was given the role of Burt Ridley on NBC's hit series Providence and the rest is history.
6. Mark Wahlberg
Not many male stars have gone from being a hit model and rapper to one of America's favorite actors. Marky Mark, a name he would like to forget, became famous when he played with the Funky Bunch. A few years later, Wahlberg reinvented himself and transitioned into acting.
At first he played smaller roles in movies like Boogie Nights and Three Kings but by 2000 he had the starring roles in The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes and The Departed. Since then, he has starred in several films and also became an executive producer for hits like Boardwalk Empire and Entourage. This humble man has done it all - acting, scriptwriting and producing. He really got his start when he and Ben Affleck wrote and acted in Good Will Hunting. Forbes magazine has called him one of the most bankable stars as well as one of the highest grossing actors of all time. He has also been deemed the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.
His roles in the Bourne and Ocean's series boosted his already popular reputation and he became internationally known. His versatility is one of his biggest draws. His list of acting credits is long, with notable roles in movies such as Stuck on You to science fiction's The Adjustment Bureau to the more recent role of Liberace's gay lover in Behind the Candelabra.
4. Justin Timberlake
This celebrity had the chutzpah and determination to turn his lead vocalist career into a mega-enterprise while having fun all along the way. NSYNC became one of the hottest boy bands in the 1990s and JT's performances were always heralded by the music industry.
He became a solo artist and led the charts with favorites like SexyBack and My Love. Timberlake took a leap into acting quite successfully and starred in The Social Network and Friends with Benefits before returning to the music business in 2013. He seems to hit a home run in every area, including business. He has co-owned restaurants, launched a clothing line and partnered with Sauza liquors to launch his own beverage - Sauza 901. He's also married to Jessica Biel. Enough said.

This seemingly mild-mannered star has played every quirky role under the sun - and has done it brilliantly. He got his start in television's 21 Jump Street and became loved by teens, both male and female. Edward Scissorhands was one of the most unique roles that demonstrated his ability to take on any part. Although he has acted in more serious films like Donnie Brasco, it is really the odd films that have set him apart.
The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise garnered him an even larger audience worldwide. He has nearly always received critical acclaim for his acting abilities, which is no surprise as he selected some of the most interesting roles available.

Brad Pitt has lived his life his way with gorgeous wife Angelina Jolie. With a fairly small role, Pitt made his mark in the highly acclaimed movie Thelma & Louise. His career escalated quickly and he was given roles in some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters immediately after demonstrating his savvy acting ability, which is rare.
He is considered one of Hollywood's most influential and powerful people in the industry, even though he often resides in other countries with his wife and children. His hit movie franchise, The Fast and the Furious, made him an even bigger star and Furious 7 was in the number one slot for being the biggest movie in 2015 up until Jurassic World opened. Women love him and men want to be him.
