So, I don't know how up on celebrity news you are, but Amber Heard and Johnny Depp aren't together anymore. They haven't been for nearly two years. This happened after Heard posted photos of her bruised face and came out saying that Johnny Depp had hit her. Apparently, he hadn't intended to and there was something to do with her being hit in the face by a flying smartphone, but the details don't really matter here.
What matters here is that Amber Heard is now post-divorce and while she might still have to deal with Depp in some ways (like people on social media who support him), she is her own person again and she is doing quite well. And by quite well, I mean to say that the best thing she ever did was drop him.

Damn! Glam!
First of all, those eyes! Oh, my goodness. I have to say that the glamour look is great for Amber Heard. What's great about this is that the makeup is hardly glam at all. It's just the pose and outfit. The makeup is actually pretty reserved and just shows off Heard's naturally awesome and beautiful features. I don't know about you but I think it's way better when someone doesn't need to paint on the makeup.
I know, I know, this photo was obviously Photoshopped to some extent. No one's skin is quite that porcelain perfect. I get it. But that doesn't change the fact that she looks bloody gorgeous. It's no wonder Johnny Depp wanted to be with her...but it is a real wonder why he would drive her away.
Woman Of The Year
“I feel really honoured to be in this room tonight with examples of real gentlemen, it's a rare thing these days, and I feel honoured." That was the start of Heard's speech at the 2017 Man of The Year Awards. Why was she there since it's for the Man of The Year? Because she was accepting her own award as Woman of The Year! And why the hell not? She's done all sorts of work for women's rights, especially since the incident with Johnny Depp that put the final nail in the coffin of their relationship.
And when she showed up to accept that award...she was dressed to steal the show. Her outfit sort of screams that she is indeed a woman and she is very comfortable with her body. And I am more than sure that everyone else was pretty comfortable with her outfit. Especially Elon Musk.
Fighting Back
This was a photo that was used by USA Today after Heard spoke up in response to J.K. Rowling's defence of Johnny Depp's casting in her upcoming spin-off film from Fantastic Beasts. Her response took the form of Heard and Depp's joint statement to the public after their divorce along with a direct comment to Rowling and Warner Bros that went like this: "For the record, this was our FULL joint statement. To pick & choose certain lines & quote them out of context, is not right. Women, stay strong."
It's too bad that Heard still has to deal with any of this now that she's beyond the relationship with Depp but she's definitely standing up for herself and while she may have this added stress, it certainly does seem that way when she steps in front of the camera. She's stunning.
Ready To Kick Back
Even when you don't get a clear view of Amber Heard's beautiful eyes, you still get to be floored by something as simple as the cut of her facial features. Or the way her hair falls to her shoulders. Or how slender her neck is. I get that her porcelain skin is almost certainly touched up by photo editing but that doesn't change the fact that she still has some pretty damn clear skin that clearly doesn't need all that much editing.
Aside from how gorgeous Heard looks in this very relaxed photo, she also seems more than content to be on the other side of her marriage with Depp. And what's more? She looks like she's got her eye on someone out of frame there and I hope that she finds what she wants in a guy or gal (yes, she does go both ways if that's suddenly surprising to you).
Almost Dangerous
I don't know if it's just me or if you see it as well, but Heard looks almost dangerous in this photo. There's something about the cut of her near perfect features, the slight tip of her head, and the way in which both the cut of her smile and the look in her eyes seem to indicate that she's getting ready to pounce on some sort of prey that makes this photo incredibly alluring and a little bit stressful.
I'm sure there are several people gawking at this photo from their parents' basement, wishing that Heard would look at them in this way so they could feel both excited and slightly scared. I bet Heard could very easily take charge. Maybe that's why Johnny Depp would always fight with her. She knew what she wanted and she could easily take control of a situation. And now she can do that without Depp getting in the way with a smartphone.
The Girl Next Door
The number of stunning photo shoots that Amber Heard has done since she and Johnny Depp split is just awesome. It's not like she didn't go out of her way to be photographed while she was with Depp but she definitely has got some new great work and I think it's important to appreciate the work that has come from her since her split with Depp.
In this shot, she looks like she could just be the girl next door. She's got that casual quality without seeming too much like the bombshell she truly is. It's like she's purposely gone a little "homely" in this shot just to make her accessible to everyone; making it seem like she's just one of the girls and that you could run into on the street. I know that's not the case in her real life but it's nice to see when a celeb isn't opposed to looking pretty normal. And come on, those eyes are intense.
At Home Waiting
Oh...my...goodness. Amber Heard is just one of the most gorgeous people in Hollywood right now. I think I can say that pretty easily without much argument. Eat your heart out Megan Fox.
In this awesome shot, I can't help but think that Johnny Depp was out of his mind to have ever messed up his relationship with Amber Heard. If this is the way she was waiting for him sometimes, or at least the way she was during a photo shoot at home for a time...why would you ever want to mess that up? It makes no sense to me but I'm also not an intense drunk or an almost broke Hollywood celeb. I'm not sure if Heard decided to really tighten up when she was back out into the wide world of being single but she's definitely doing something right here.
Oh, Mera
Cards on the table here, I haven't seen Justice League at all, though I have seen Amber Heard's outfit from the film. And I'm not sure that Aquaman is going to be all that great a film when it does finally come out but I have to say that the character of Mera is probably going to be one of the highlights of the film. Why? Well...all you have to do is just look at Heard in her costume.
I know this is kind of cheating because this isn't really a shot of Heard out and about or at a photo shoot. This is just a screenshot from the film...but you can't deny that she looks gorgeous and none of us got to see this lovely look until after she and Depp split so I think it should still count here on this list. And for those of you who don't agree...all I can say is take a look at the photo again fool!
The Up-Do
Don't get me wrong here, I think that Amber Heard has a wonderful head of hair but I have to say that I do definitely appreciate when she puts that hair up. Why? Well, now you can admire how wonderfully sculpted she seems to be. The slender neck, the strong but alluring shoulders. I'm sure the rest of this outfit would be a wonder to a good bunch of you looking over this piece too. But this is what you get so you can just use your imagination there.
Aside from that, I have to say that even the way she does up her hair, it is an interestingly purposeful mess that gives her a bit of a wild edge along with her otherwise elegant appearance. And it doesn't hurt that the dark lipstick she's wearing really makes her eyes pop.
Suited Up
What's interesting about this photo is that it really does look like Heard did not spend all that much time on her outfit, her hair, or her makeup. Granted, you can only see the suit coat that she's wearing, but still, it's a suit, it's self explanatory.
I have to say that I like the idea that she didn't spend hours on her look here. It kind of looks like she got up, realized she had to be somewhere, thankfully didn't have to deal with Johnny Depp and then waltzed over to wear the cameras were so she could get a photo op in before the night really kicked off with someone like Elon Musk. This just backs up my thought that Amber Heard is very much like the girl next door, except a million times more beautiful.
Majestic
This photo was taken at the Met Gala, where celebrities tend to ignore the rules and instead of actually sticking to a theme, dress up however they want in usually revealing outfits. And I have to say that she looks absolutely majestic.
The way her hair is swept over, the sort of distant, far-off look she giving with that almost vacant parted-lip look, and then the flesh tones of her perhaps satin dress...it all really works to make this incredibly majestic look. And it doesn't hurt that she has some wonderfully piercing eyes and a perfectly sculpted face. She is just actually, objectively very beautiful. I think it would be hard for almost anyone to disagree with that honestly. I know that common sense isn't really a real thing for the most part, but it should be in this case.
That Sneaky Smile
Oh, Amber. I'm not sure if I prefer the pure blonde look or the usually dirty blonde look that she has but it doesn't really matter in this photo because the smile in both her mouth and eyes is so wonderful, it's hard to think about much else.
That being said, it does sort of look like she's got something sneaky on her mind. That, or maybe something naughty. I'm sure I know which you guys are hoping for. But, it's Amber Heard so you're going to have to reserve those thoughts to yourself, especially since chances are if any of us ever met her, that is definitely not a look she would give us. I don't mean to break your heart but now that she's over her relationship with Johnny Depp, she's got people like Elon Musk going after her, and he could buy everything you own a million times over.
Sweet Ride!
A beautiful girl in a beautiful car is a constant go to for any photographer who knows what they're doing. Either way though, I sincerely hope that this Caddie actually belongs to Heard. It's not like she couldn't afford one. It would just be really sad to me if she posed in it to make it look like she's got more class than she has...and then find out that she actually doesn't own the damn car at all. Don't ruin the illusion!
Honestly, it doesn't matter though. She's a celebrity and her job is to constantly make you buy into a world that doesn't exist. After all, it's not like she's actually the lover of Aquaman...not unless Jason Mamoa decided to go for her after she and Depp finally made the split.
Heading To The Office
If ever you were the CEO at a powerful and wealthy company and you saw Amber Heard walk into the office for work wearing that blazer, giving you that look with her hair swept over like that...I have to say that I'm pretty sure you'd give her any deal she could possibly ask for. I'm not sure what exactly she's wearing under that blazer but from the way this shot is framed, it doesn't look like much. I'm sure you're ok with that. Especially with the way she's looking into the camera.
I bet she was so happy to give out this look and not give a damn about what Johnny Depp might think about it. She wouldn't have to worry about a phone being thrown at her, or any stupid fights on the set of the photo shoot. No wonder she looks so damn good. She has lost so much stress in her life!
Going For A Dip
Yes, by "dip" I mean going for a swim. Which is clearly what Amber Heard did just before she did this photo shoot. Or rather she dunked herself in order to get the shots of her soaking wet.
Amber Heard is stunning and we all know it. And I'm sure we're all happy that she's no longer in an awful relationship with Johnny Depp. Partly because we know she's not being abused by her spouse, and be honest, it's partly because even though you know you don't stand a chance with her, you still know that nothing is 100% certain so you actually might have a way in there. Again to the photo though, it's too bad that they got her partially wet, and then did up her makeup to make the photo look way too fake. Oh, well.
