Rumor has it that Jenna Dewan's marriage to Channing Tatum ended because his incredible career success was making it hard for the couple to spend quality time together. At the end of April, 2018, Jenna made a statement by changing her official Twitter and Instagram accounts from her married name to, "Jenna Dewan".

A lot of reports indicate that this beloved couple was on the rocks months before they broke up. In fact, they are reported to have been living separate lives long before they formally announced their separation.

Jenna is an American dancer, actress, and businesswoman, and she began her showbiz career by working as one of Janet Jackson's backup dancers. Jenna is currently 37. She was born in Connecticut. She married Channing in 2009. After her daughter, Everly, was born, she had one of the quickest bounce-backs ever. She was sleek and fabulous in no time flat. She's into fitness and nutrition, so she was able to get back to normal in record time.

Hopefully, the breakup won't be too hard on Evie. When parents split, they need to put the focus on making things easier for the kids. She Dreamed of Being an Ice Skater
Jenna became a dancer, but wanted to be an ice skater first. Lots of little girls dream of being ice skaters. It's the skater dresses, the speed on the ice, the twirls, the footwork, the competition...
Ice skating at the elite level looks so glam, but it's such hard work. It's a lot like dancing in terms of requiring a great deal of practice and pain. The best figure skaters make it look effortless. Great dancers do the same thing and Jenna Dewan is definitely a great dancer.
Jenna's gave us a new taste of her amazing dancing talent by posting a video of her busting moves with other World of Dance judges, including Derek Hough. She's certainly not hiding out because of her breakup. In fact, she may have been having a little flirtation with Nick Jonas on Instagram just the other day.
Jenna probably would have been a great ice skater. It's nice for all of us that she chose dancing. Now, everyone who tunes into World of Dance, which is premiering on the 29th of May, 2018, is going to be grateful that Jenna became a dancer, except maybe any aspiring dancers that she critiques during the show.

Her Hair Was Reddish When She Was a Child
Jenna is currently a gorgeous brunette, but she says that her hair had a reddish tint when she was a child. Our childhood hair is often lighter than our adult hair. I personally love Jenna's current hair color. I like how she doesn't lighten it with a bunch of highlights. She's rocking the brunette look and it suits her perfectly.
In May of 2018, Jenna revealed some of her hair care secrets to the team at the Glamour Magazine website. Her new hairstyle is a chic "lob" - a long bob that I think is her best look yet. She credits hairstylist Jen Atkins for the gorgeous cut. Jenna cares for her raven locks by letting her new cut air-dry when she can. She says her hair has natural waves, but the cut is so good that it just falls into place, which means that she gets a smooth blowout look, without the actual blowout. She uses dry shampoo to maintain the style for longer.
When she was younger and doing backup dancing, she went for a more creative, "Rainbow Brite", hair look and wore glitter eye makeup, too. Now, she's grown up and she's loving shorter hair. She's not interested in going longer right now. She says the new layers help her to tame her thick hair.
She Always Wants French Fries
The beautiful Jenna Dewan clearly takes good care of herself. She's into fitness and nutrition. However, like everyone else, she has moments when she wants to indulge in unhealthy foods.
Jenna craves French Fries and, hopefully, lets herself have them when her cravings do get out of control. She's always "papped" pre or post-workout, so she's obviously getting a ton of exercise. Dancing burns major calories, plus Jenna loves 45-minute workouts which combine dance and cardio exercise with weight training, lunges, squats, planks, and crunches. On a typical day, she'll have a green smoothie for breakfast, enjoy Tabbouleh for lunch and have a brown rice and veggies for supper.
While French Fries shouldn't be a daily habit (unfortunately, right?), it's fun to eat exactly what we want sometimes. Maybe Jenna has diet cheat days where she goes for food that isn't allowed during the other six days. A lot of celebs use the cheat day schedule to stay fit and stay sane.
Overall, Jenna goes for a "mainly vegan" diet. She has said that watching a show about slaughterhouses made her turn away from a carnivorous lifestyle. She goes even further by trying to avoid buying fashion and accessories which are made from exotic skins.
She Moved Around a Lot as a Kid
Jenna lived a nomadic life as a child. Her family moved around a lot. Jenna's part-Lebanese through her father's branch of the family. Her Dad also has Polish blood. Before Jenna turned seven years old, she'd lived in seven cities, but they weren't international cities. Jenna's family is American, so they moved from place to place in the USA.
When kids need to move around a lot, they have to adapt to new environments quickly. They must try to fit in when they attend new schools. Most kids would probably choose not to move around a lot when they are young. It's hard to leave friends, homes, and schools and start fresh. However, Jenna probably learned a lot of valuable skills by adjusting to life in new cities.
These days, Jenna calls Los Angeles home. According to an Elle.com story from April of this year, she and Channing were still living together after they announced their breakup, but they may not be anymore. Apparently, they still hang out in order to create a united front for little Evie.
Jenna is used to moving around a lot, because of her childhood. This move may affect her a lot more than the others.
She's Fond of Nantucket
Jenna's Mom and Dad have a home in beautiful Nantucket, USA. Jenna loves being in Nantucket. Jenna says the Nantucket home that her parents own has been in their family for generations.
If you've never been to Nantucket, you're missing out. It's a small island in Massachusetts, which is off of Cape Cod. It's an isolated place with scenic beaches that are backed by dunes. Most buildings on the island feature cedar shingles which are unpainted. The town of Nantucket has plenty of charm and character, thanks to its cobblestone streets and wharves.
Jenna may have taken some time out from the media buzz over her split by hanging out in Nantucket with her family. She may not have had time, because her career is in overdrive, thanks to World of Dance and other projects. If she wasn't able to make it to Nantucket since the split with Channing, maybe she'll head there with Evie in the summer and enjoy some quality time with her family. Nantucket is a great place to enjoy nature and reflect on life.
Jenna seems to love the great outdoors. She's often "papped" on beaches and hiking trails. She's just as comfortable out in nature as she is at red carpet events.
She's a Speed Reader
Jenna's a woman with plenty of gifts and talents. She may not have been able to achieve a happy marriage, but she excels in a lot of other areas, from her dancing and acting career to motherhood to speed reading. Speed reading comes in handy. Jenna probably doesn't have a ton of free time for reading. At least she can read fast when she wants to. Hawaii Is Her Happy Place
Hawaii is lush and gorgeous, with trade winds that feel so good on the skin. Jenna is happiest in Hawaii. It's the place where she's the most relaxed. Everyone I know who's been to Hawaii raves about how great it is. Hawaii is warm all year round and most people find its climate ideal, although a few find that they are always sweating while they are there.

In February 2017, Jenna frolicked in Hawaii with Channing Tatum. Jenna looked stunning as she was papped on a Hawaiian beach, wearing a scarlet two-piece. The couple looked very lovey-dovey during their trip. Apparently, things went downhill after their Hawaiian getaway.

She's got an adorable daughter, she's beautiful and she has a great career. She's already received a lot of good luck, although it could be argued that she made her own luck. She's worked hard to get where she is. I think she'll move on and find someone who is just right for her. She seems like someone who wants to be happy.

Jenna maps out her future by making vision boards. If you've never made a vision board (I haven't), you should know that it's a tool which is utilized in order to put focus on a particular life goal. When you make a vision board, you should add images that represent what you wish for in your life or who you want to be.
What does Jenna put on his vision boards? She hasn't said. Maybe she adds dream furniture for a future dream home, or adds pictures of Hawaii to inspire her to plan her next trip there, or uses images that help her to stay motivated to hit career targets. Her vision boards might also relate to her hopes and dreams for her daughter, Everly. In the past, Channing Tatum might have been a part of her vision boards.

Jenna has publicly denied the rumors that her ex-hubby flirted and drank. However, it's always possible that she's issuing denials in order to protect her child from having to read about her and Channing's dirty laundry in the future. She Appeared in a Ricky Martin Video
Beautiful Jenna did some gorgeous print ads for Danskin. Danskin chose her to promote their dancer's attire and athleisure because she's a wonderful dancer. She was an ideal pick as a Danskin Brand Ambassador. Her dancing ability had led to some exciting career opportunities, including the chance to appear in a Ricky Martin music video.
Jenna played the gorgeous love interest of Ricky Martin in his music video for "Juramento", which was released in 2003. In the video, an array of Ricky's fight for her heart out in the desert. Jenna's figure looks amazing throughout the video and she does some exciting hair flips, too.
Imagine how many dancers/actresses/models tried out for this part. Ricky could get almost anyone to play a love interest in a video. Jenna got the part over all of the others. She must have been so excited when she learned that she'd booked this job. Showbiz has its ups and downs and booking that job would definitely have been a career highlight for young Jenna Dewan.

She Partied at Neverland Ranch
These days, Jenna is a judge on World of Dance. When she worked as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, she gained entry into the infamous ranch where the late Michael Jackson used to live. Neverland Ranch is the subject of fascination, horror, and mockery. It was a sort of mini-Disneyland, with amusement park rides onsite, as well as exotic animals. It's the type of place where a person with a "Peter Pan complex" i.e. "doesn't want to grow up" will feel comfortable.
Jenna has always been hard-working and mature, so I'm not sure she has the type of complex. Nonetheless, she was pleased to go and check out the ranch and explore all of its unique features.

Jenna said she appreciated the gifts and knew she could always sell the sparkling watch if times got hard.
She is a Flea Market Fan
Jenna loves to cruise flea markets, looking for treasure. This makes her relatable. It is fun to hunt for unusual finds at flea markets. Plus, it's a down to earth activity. I can't see the Kardashians spending a lot of time at flea markets, when they could be shopping at Barneys or Henri Bendel or Louis Vuitton. Jenna is quite able to enjoy shopping for secondhand items, whether they are precious or a lot less costly.
Since she's in Los Angeles, she enjoys the Rose Bowl Flea Market and she may explore flea markets in other cities, too. Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, and Lauren Conrad have also hung out at this popular L.A. flea market.
While Jenna is certainly able to afford the really good items at flea markets, such as vintage designer clothes, fine jewelry, and antiques, she may treat herself to low-ticket items, too.
Jenna seems like a very active person. She likes to be out and about. She's probably not the biggest homebody of all of the female celebs. She Binged New Girl While Caring for Her Newborn
When you're caring for a newborn, there's a lot of time at home. Babies aren't supposed to go out into places which are enclosed, such as shopping malls, until they are at least six weeks old. This is because their fragile immune systems need time to get stronger. When they are taken out into enclosed spaces too early, they are at risk of catching illnesses.
When Jenna, who sure doesn't seem like a big homebody, was looking after her newborn daughter, Everly, she binged New Girl on Netflix. I've watched a few episodes of this light sitcom, which stars Zooey Deschanel. I like Zooey because she's different. Apparently, Jenna loves her. It seems like she watched every episode of New Girl while nursing her baby and bonding with Everly.
Binging Netflix is one of life's guilty pleasures and I'm glad that Jenna got a chance to do it while her baby was brand-new. Normally, Jenna would probably be wrapped up in her workouts, her facial treatments, her career responsibilities and her relationships.
It's hard to say if Jenna will start dating soon or take a break. She's busy with World of Dance and she seems very extroverted, so she might meet someone through work who sweeps her off of her feet. If she decides on a break, she may have time for more Netflix now or in the future.
She Walks on Her Tiptoes
Dancers have a tendency to walk on their tiptoes and Jenna Dewan is no exception. This is pretty cute. Did Channing find this habit enchanting? Her skincare routines are very in-depth. She's heavy into complex skin care routines.
She Had Skin Treatments to Fix "Mask of Pregnancy"
Pregnancy causes complexion problems sometimes. Jenna Dewan was one of those unlucky women who suffered from "mask of pregnancy" while expecting her daughter, Everly. Jenna had to get laser skin treatments to get her skin back to pre-pregnancy condition. She found the skin care treatments extremely effective.
Mask of pregnancy is also known as Melasma. Tons of people get hit with Melasma. It doesn't just afflict pregnant women. Melasma causes dark patches upon the face. To battle her dark spots, Jenna saw a doctor named Simon Ourian.

She Loved Here Comes Honey Boo Boo
New Girl isn't the only show that Jenna Dewan binge-watched. She was also hooked on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. I have to confess I've never watched this and never will. I did see Toddlers & Tiaras once and I was appalled.
If you haven't seen Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, either, you should know that it's a USA reality TV show which was shown on TLC. It ran from 2012 to 2014. The show's centerpiece is Alana Thompson, who is nicknamed, Honey Boo Boo and her relationship with her Mom, "Mama June Shannon". This show did not receive critical acclaim.
We all watch the trashier shows sometimes. I'm not even going to share information about which D-list shows I choose to watch in order to decompress. It is too embarrassing. Reality TV really isn't so real, so it's an escape from reality. It's a blend of reality and scripted TV which somehow fills a need for many of us, including Jenna.
Now that you know so much about Jenna, you'll be able to appreciate her more while you watch World of Dance or see her in other projects. She's a lot more than a woman who used to be with Channing Tatum.
