Some days, motivation can be hard to come by. But every now and again, somebody comes along who can motivate and inspire individuals like it's his or her business. Whether you just need to get out of bed in the morning, want to ask the boss-man for a raise or are trying to build up the courage to ask out some sexy young thing in your office building, here are 20 awesome pump up talks that will help you get things done! Some of these videos have foul language, keep it quiet while at work, unless your boss is cool.

Sylvester Stallone Rocky - Rocky Balboa

This one's ridiculous, but it' s a good start.

Neal Jones: Sgt Major John Sixta - Generation Kill

Great accent, great speech. Great series come to think of it. In this scene, he is getting First Recon ready to invade Iraq.

19. Bill Pullman: President Whitmore – Independence Day

Whatever you do, guys, don't let the world get taken over.

18. Gene Hackman: Norm Dale – Hoosiers

Not the greatest of intensity with this one, but the message is clear and the bond between coach and players is unquestionable.

17. Eric Cartman: South Park – Make Love Not Warcraft

Eric Cartman is a twisted character to be motivating people. But in this episode he took it upon himself to motivate his friends to train in the World of Warcraft to defeat an impossibly strong character, rather than returning to their real lives. Voulez-vous couchez avec moi, Clyde? Disregard the line about Hitler, Cartman's a jerk.

16. Jon Seda: Gunnery Sgt John Basilone - The Pacific

This one is a real eye opener for the new recruits assigned to John Basilone, and when one of them disrespects the enemy, he gives them some tough love; teaching the young men that underestimating their foe could get them killed.

15. Chris Cooper: Lt Colonel Kazinski – Jarhead

In keeping with the theme of war movies, here's Chris Cooper in Jarhead, letting his soldiers know they'll get the chance to kick ass. I actually found Lt Col. Kazinski to be one of only two likable things about this movie. The other was Jamie Foxx. Chris Cooper nailed this speech. "Oohhhhh I just felt my d*ck move".

14. Keanu Reeves: Shane Falco – The Replacements

How many people out there have said "Pain heals, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever?" Short and sweet.

13. Gerard Butler: King Leonidas – 300

This is the most hardcore way anyone could say: "Alright fellas, we're going to die today, get excited!" There are too many amazing lines in 300. This is just one.

12. Emilio Estevez: Gordon Bombay – D2 The Mighty Ducks

If Emilio's brother Charlie (or Carlos) had that role, those kids would have lost the game because he would have been too high to say anything, let alone come up with a pep talk.

11. Russell Crowe: Maximus Decidus Meridius – Gladiator

The opening battle scene of this movie was amazing. But without the epic speech, it would have been significantly less awesome. There were a couple of speeches in that movie, but the opener really set the scene phenomenally.

10. Paul Newman: Reggie Dunlop – Slapshot

Not the most intense speech ever, but definitely inspirational. Damn, I'm out of tinfoil.

9. Viggo Mortenson: Aragorn – Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

"Hey guys, whatever you do, don't let the most evil things in the world get by, okay?" Probably wouldn't have had the same affect.

8. Kurt Russell: Herb Brooks – Miracle

Coaches make the best speeches. Especially when your team needs to show a bunch of commies what's what.

7. Charles S. Dutton: Janitor/Fortune – Rudy

OK Samwise, make sure Frodo gets to Mordor with that ring! Oh wait, wrong one, Rudy, go play some football and quit your crying!

6. Matthew McConaughey: Coach Lengyel - We Are Marshall

It's not really appropriate to shout a team name and then "the funeral ends today" in a cemetery, is it? Maybe if it's a football team it's okay.

5. Mel Gibson: William Wallace – Braveheart

This is one of those iconic speeches that people quote constantly. FREEDOM!!

4. Denzel Washington: Coach Boone – Remember the Titans

A great movie about a touchy time in history. Denzel really nailed this role.

3. John Belushi: Bluto – Animal House

Possibly one of the greatest characters in the history of film. "I'M A ZIT, GET IT?!" Too bad university isn't that much fun in real life...or maybe I just went to a garbage school.

2. George C. Scott: General George S. Patton – Patton

Patton is one of many quotable men in American history, along with being one of the greatest military leaders the world has ever known, not to mention a great motivator.

1. Al Pacino: Tony D’Amato – Any Given Sunday

Anyone who doesn't think this is the greatest speech in the history of film, television and humanity just isn't willing to die for that inch.

That's the list and I hope you enjoyed. Now get out there and have an awesome day!
