Former Dance Moms star, Abby Lee Miller, temporarily left her halfway house for medical treatment yesterday. Miller was sentenced to a prison term of one year and one day last May for bankruptcy fraud. The 51-year-old has been living in the halfway home ever since March 27, 2018, when she was released early for good behavior. Miller has experienced health issues such as severe back pain in the past, but the nature of her medical needs have not been specified at this time. Medical professionals responded to a call at the Residential Reentry Center for an "unspecified medical complaint."
According to TMZ, the star was visibly upset. There's no news yet on what Miller's plans are when she is released. By the looks of the "Abby Lee Dance Company" shirt she was seen wearing as she left the halfway house, it seems like she is still very much dedicated to her dance career.
When Miller is finally a free agent, she will still have to abide by the terms and conditions of her parole agreement which includes submitting to regular drug testing and not interacting with someone she knows is engaged in “criminal activity.”
Miller's court documents spell out the rules she must follow: “You must refrain from any unlawful use of a controlled substance. You must submit to one drug test within 15 days of release from imprisonment and at least two periodic drug tests thereafter, as determined by the court. You must cooperate in the collection of DNA as directed by the probation officer.”
Miller is known to live stream for her fans, answering questions and generally commenting about what is going on in her life. In fact, she live-streamed right before she was due to turn herself into authorities to begin serving her prison sentence last year.
