Andrey Arshavin is a Russian former professional football player and he has an estimated net worth of $13.5 million. Born Andrey Sergeyevich Arshavin on May 29, 1981 in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), his father, who was an amateur football player, encouraged him to pursue a professional career in football. He began playing football at an early age and, by the age of seven, he was enrolled in the Smena football academy of Zenit in his hometown.
In 2000, Arshavin made his debut when he was included in the first-team squad and earned his first win with a 3-0 against the English side Bradford City in the Intertoto Cup. He came in the game as a first-half substitute for Andrey Kobelev.
In 2009, Andrey Arshavin, signed for Arsenal from Zenit St Petersburg in a £12m deal that runs until summer 2012.
