Bob Probert is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player for Chicago Blackhawks who has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
Bob Probert began his ice hockey career when he landed to play for the Brantford Alexanders. He spent his time playing for the Ontario Hockey League's Hamilton Steelhawks and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 1984-85 season.
In 1983, he was picked by the Detroit Red Wings during the third round of the NHL Entry Draft. Probert spent playing with the team until 1994. In 1989, he served three months in jail when he was arrested for drug possession.
He moved to Chicago Blackhawks in 1994. Probert was placed under inactive status due to entering rehab and various injuries that he sustained during his stint with the team. On November 16, 2002, he was unofficially retired from playing ice hockey and eventually announced his retirement during the 2003 offseason.
Probert appeared in several charity games, youth clinics and shared his insights as a speaker after leaving the said sports. His book, Tough Guy: My Life on the Edge was published on October 26, 2010 which was co-authored by Kirstie McLellan Day.
