Erika Girardi just listed the Pasadena mansion that she shared with her husband, Tom Girardi for $13 million. According to People, the 74,914-square-foot estate is listed with Ted Clark & Heather Lillard at Compass.
The property boasts of four big rooms, nine bathrooms, a chapel, a guest suite, and a library. It also has a pavilion, a pool, a rose garden, and multiple patios.
Girardi’s former is located between the Arroyo Seco and Annandale Golf Club which is also overlooking the historic Colorado Street Bridge. The property promises old-world opulence, as well as the rare opportunity to own a piece of Pasadena history.
In November, Girardi announced her decision to divorce Tom, who she’s been married to since 1999. Following their split, Girardi moved to a $1.5 million house in Los Angeles.
A source said that Girardi is having a blast in her new house. However, the same cannot be said about her marriage.
Reports revealed that multiple lawsuits have been filed against her husband since their divorce filing. Unfortunately, Tom cannot defend himself in court because he was recently diagnosed with dementia and late-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Back in November, Girardi also released a statement confirming her decision to divorce her husband of 21years.
“After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together. It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserved. I request others give us that privacy as well,” she said.
Prior to their divorce, the Girardis' relationship has been an ongoing topic for discussion in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Since the couple has a 33-year age gap, some people thought that Girardi was after her husband’s money.
But in 2018, Girardi explained that this wasn’t the case.
“What was really important to me was my relationship. Tom wasn’t going to change. He was a grown man. It really was two people coming together who really enjoy each other’s company. Tom is so bright. He understands the trick to life. I love getting his advice. Everyone thought I was marrying him to have a baby and lock down the money, as ugly as that sounds,” she said.
As of this writing, Girardi's net worth is estimated at $5 million. This means that she still has plenty to go around even after her divorce.
However, Celebrity Net Worth said that this could change depending on what the court decides.
