Jennifer Lopez is parting ways with one of her Los Angeles properties, but not without a huge price tag, as the pop star has reportedly listed her estate for $42.5 million.
J.Lo’s property is one of the most luxurious estates in California. She originally bought the mega-mansion in 2016 for $28 million, which was a steal considering the original asking price was over $39 million.
The home features nearly 14,000 square feet of living space, including 7 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Some of the most breathtaking features include a swimming pond feature by lush vegetation plus an outdoor infinity pool, which comes equipped with a poolside bar.
The French-inspired mansion was originally designed by architect Samuel Marx. It also comes with a mini golf course, an outdoor concert venue, and a private bridge. The home can only be accessed by crossing a small bridge.
It’s unclear when Jennifer is parting with the mansion, but it likely has something to do with her new husband, Ben Affleck. The couple reportedly bought a mansion together last year months after tying the knot.
The couple were spotted house hunting on multiple occasions last year. At one point, they reportedly toured a $165 million mansion that was originally built by Aaron Spelling.
The same month, reports say they put in an offer on a $55 million mansion, though they deal fell through for undisclosed reasons.
However, the couple eventually went in on a beautiful Bel-Air mansion, which cost approximately $65 million. The home features 10 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, and 4 kitchens. It sits on 1.1 acres of land and offers stunning views of the cityscape, including the nearby Bel Air Country Club golf course.
It's not only J.Lo who’s narrowing down her property portfolio. In December, it was reported that Ben had listed his Pacific Palisades estate for $30 million. He originally bought the property several years ago for $19 million following his divorce from Jennifer Garner.
The couple may have several properties on the market between them, but Ben and Jen still have a handful of homes to their name, including Ben’s Georgia compound, where they celebrated their nuptials in lavish fashion last year in the spring.
The director has owned the 87-acre property since 2003, when he bought it for $7.5 million. With over 13,500 square feet of living space, the stunning home features a walk-in wine cellar, a movie theatre, and a recreation room featuring a bar.
