Jennifer Nettles is a country music artist whose net worth is $20 million. She is a singer for the famous band Sugarland. Nettles was born in September 12, 1974 in Douglas Georgia. She went to Agnes Scott College, where she studied Sociology and Anthropology. While still in College, she formed a group called Soul Miner’s Daughter with Cory Jones, and released two albums: Hallelujah and The Sacred and Profane.

She formed Jennifer Nettles Band in 1999, and released two live albums as well as three studio albums. The band, which included Scott Nicholson (piano), Mike Cebulski (percussion), Brad Sikes (drums), and Wesley Lupold (bass), won the grand prize after they emerged the top from over 2000 bands in an event presented by the Mar Music. They were then called to perform at the Lilith Fair.
In 2003, she teamed up with Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall and form Sugarland band. Sugarland was then nominated for the Grammy Award in 2006, though they did not win.
In 2009, Sugarland was nominated for Grammy Award and won both the Best Country Performance as well as the Best Country Song.
