Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s outfits have been causing a ton of controversy abroad, but it appears that isn’t stopping the rapper from spending a small fortune on getting the looks custom made on the fly in Italy.

According to London-based designer Mowalola Ogunlesi, Kanye is having the outfits created as a “whole atelier in Italy.” "Anything he wants to make, they can make it. He's really just making it on the spot,” he explained.

On the condition of anonymity, another designer told Page Six, "They design it and have an in-house team that creates everything in a day."

Ogunlesi said there’s no “structural process” to Kanye’s latest designs. “They just buy tights and style it and cut it on [Censori] … Usually they get Wolford. Tights are not safe when they’re around,” he explained.

The designer emphasized that Bianca has a lot of input in the outfits, despite recent reports that Kanye is controlling of her image. “She [Bianca] has a lot of say in what she wants to wear. Everything Bianca is wearing is really from her and Ye’s brain,” he went on. “They want to show people that you can do this yourself. It’s stuff that’s attainable — tights.

“With tights, you can cut them and sew it — if it doesn’t work out you can put on another pair,” the designer continued.

Ogunlesi didn’t elaborate on what Kanye hopes to achieve with the outfits, considering their reception has been anything but positive. There have been calls for Bianca to be fined for public indecency for her revealing outfits.

During an outing in Florence, paparazzi photos showed Bianca being forced to cover her torso with a pillow as he walked with Kanye in a catsuit seemingly made of sheer pantyhose. Moreover, the controversial couple sparked a police investigation when they were caught in a compromising aboard a water taxi, and not just because of Bianca’s risqué outfits.

The boat company later issued a statement banning Kanye and Bianca from using their services in the future. More recently, it was reported that the pair were issued their final warning by Italian authorities as their provocative looks continue to stir controversy.
