English sporting executive, television broadcaster, newspaper columnist, author and novelist, Karren Brady has an estimated net worth of $123 million. Heralded as the first lady of British football, Karren Brady started out in advertising but quickly caught the keen eye of publisher David Sullivan. Under his encouragement and financial backing, David Sullivan Birmingham F.C. bought it for £700,000 and installed the then 23-year-old Karren Brady as managing directorof the club. She was responsible for the company's flotation in 1997, thus becoming the youngest managing director of a UK PLC, and left following the takeover of the club in October 2009. In January 2010 she was appointed vice-chairman of West Ham United following a change of ownership of the club.
