American singer, songwriter, and actress Miley Cyrus just bought a vast new blank canvas on which to express her funky maximalist interior design style. The musician and actor paid $7.9 million for a six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom Malibu mansion.

The Mediterranean villa-style structure is uniformly white and bright throughout, with contemporary features like recessed LED lights and sizable windows that flood the interiors with natural light. A two-story entryway spills into what the listing describes as “three entertaining rooms” — a fireplace-equipped living room, formal dining room and a billiard room with a pool table.
