In anticipation of his inaugural collection as the freshly appointed Louis Vuitton Men's creative director, Pharrell Williams has introduced the latest campaign featuring Rihanna.

The versatile artist, taking over from Virgil Abloh – whose untimely death in 2021 rocked the fashion world – is set to unveil his premier collection for the renowned French brand during the opening day of Paris Men's Fashion Week.

Pharrell shared an image of himself posing before a massive billboard featuring Rihanna, which graced the riverside of Paris' Musée d'Orsay. The “Diamonds” singer, also showcased a glimpse of her campaign photoshoot on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, "LOUIS VUITTON MEN Spring Summer 2024."

The collaboration sparked enthusiasm among Pharrell and Rihanna’s social media followers. Many were delighted by Pharrell's choice of a pregnant woman as the centerpiece of his debut as the new men's creative director.

One fan commented, "Pharrell using a pregnant woman as the model for his first LV menswear campaign is just amazing."

Another expressed, "Featuring a pregnant woman in a men's line campaign is truly ground-breaking."

Highlighting the uniqueness, a fan wrote, "The sight of a pregnant woman leading a men's luxury fashion campaign is truly exceptional." Numerous fans conveyed their admiration through comments like "MOTHER.”

Even though she’s easily making millions from the collab, Rihanna’s decision to star in the Louis Vuitton campaign may be surprising, since she’s the face of her own luxury clothing brand, Fenty X Savage, which she’s turned into a million-dollar business following its 2018 launch.

Recently, the singer revealed she’s stepping down as Fenty x Savage’s CEO in preparation of the birth of her second child with rapper ASAP Rocky.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,” Rihanna explained in a statement.

“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” she continued. “I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO — she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”

Rihanna announced her successor as Hillary Super, former CEO of Anthropologie Group. Super officially assumed the CEO role on June 26.

Super comes aboard Savage x Fenty during a moment of growth, marked by the brand's venture into direct-to-consumer expansion through retail stores. The brand's strategy includes launching 7 stores across the United States in the upcoming year.

With a valuation of $125 million last year, Savage x Fenty is poised for further financial ascent as its expansion continues.
