X-Men: Days of Future Past dropped on Disney+ last week and has not been censored in the same way as other titles on the platform.

People hear Disney and they think animation and movies aimed at children. That doesn't mean people of all ages can't enjoy Disney content, of course. Since Disney has been making movies for the better part of a century, almost everyone has grown up loving a certain handful of its creations.

However, between its parks, its movies, and its characters, Disney's foundation is built on being family-friendly. Which is why launching a streaming service that includes content it didn't create poses a problem. Certain precautions Disney has taken with that outside content just goes to show that even with Disney+, the House of Mouse wants to remain suitable for anyone and everyone, regardless of age.

Which is why the unedited version of X-Men: Days of Future Past that just dropped on Disney+ has taken viewers by surprise. There are two moments in the movie that most would have expected to have been left on Disney+'s cutting room floor. Professor Xavier dropping an f-bomb, and Wolverine appearing naked for a brief moment. Don't panic, it's from behind, but it's still surprising that the moment made it on to Disney+.

Hugh Jackman even acknowledged it on Instagram when it was brought to his attention. "Days Of Future Past becomes the first movie to air on Disney+ uncensored. That was my future but let’s be honest ... it’s more like my past," Jackman wrote alongside a censored still of the moment on Instagram. Ryan Reynolds caught wind of the post and joined in on the fun, revealing that it has given him hope for Deadpool.

Following Disney's acquisition of Fox, it now owns the Deadpool movies. However, with an R-rating, they might never make it onto Disney+. A solitary swear word and a bare bum is one thing. The violence and bad language Deadpool brings to the table is something else. What's odd is that Disney has removed swear words and bare behinds from other movies before adding them to Disney+, but Jackman appears to have been given a pass.
