As a proud animal activist, it shouldn't be too surprising that Silverstone has several pet dogs of her own. She has what some have called a "menagerie" of rescue dogs in her home including a pit bull mix named Samson.
Taking care of any animals is a costly expenditure, particularly if you have a lot of them. Even though rescue dogs aren't as pricey as purebreds, paying their medical bills likely adds up. Luckily the star has plenty of room at her home and a massive heart to accommodate all of them.

As reported by Yahoo News, Alicia Silverstone actually owns a line of beauty products called EcoTools. As the name suggests, she prides herself on ensuring all of her products are environmentally friendly. “They are packaged in reusable cosmetic cases that are printed on 100% tree-free paper made from 80% bamboo and 20% cotton fiber," claims the official EcoTools website.
The company also sells eco-friendly bath products including candles and spa gloves. EcoTools even hairbrushes that help your hair dry faster so you're less likely to use a hairdryer and therefore save energy.
Designer clothes
While Silverstone generally likes to consider herself budget-conscious and she often tries to keep her purchases on the modest side, the actress is in Hollywood and that requires spending money on designer clothing. One of her preferred designers is Christian Siriano.
She has been spotted wearing Christian Siriano outfits and dresses in various photographs. Christian Siriano's designs can range anywhere from several hundred dollars to several thousand. While some of Alicia's outfits are likely given to her for free by the designer in exchange for her wearing it out in public, there is a good chance she has bought several of her own.
First Kiss Productions
Alicia Silverstone owns her own production company called First Kiss Productions. It's not uncommon for actors, especially female actors, to start production companies so they can get more roles for women in Hollywood.
She opened First Kiss Productions sometime after the incredible commercial success of Clueless. It's not cheap to run a production company, especially when they're just beginning. One of the pricier items Alicia has purchased is a Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It's not apparent if she still owns the car but Emerald.com reports that Alicia did, at least at one time, own a Mercedes.
The pricy vehicle is generally about $54,000 or more. It's not the most economical car out there so there is a good chance that Silverstone has sold the car by now to exchange it for something more eco-friendly, given the importance that is to her lifestyle.
Shoes
If you had a net worth of over $20 million, wouldn't you spend an exorbitant amount of money on shoes? Alicia Silverstone, again, doesn't spend as much as other celebrities do on her shoes and high heels, but she's still not afraid of shelling out several hundred dollars for a good pair.
Silverstone insists that all the clothing she buys is made cruelty-free, that's not always an easy task, especially when it comes to shoes. Needless to say, she doesn't wear Prada, Gucci, or Christian Louboutin as their products are not made cruelty-free but brands like Beyond Skin and Zara do sell pricey shoes that Silverstone finds suitable and stylish.

Alicia Silverstone has written two books, The Kind Diet and The Kind Mama. She also co-founded a line of organic vitamins called mykind. During a recent interview with Veg News, the actress discussed how she likes to give her products as gifts during the holidays.
The blonde beauty is well-known for her self-motivated business tactics. Writing books, getting them published, and marketing them, is expensive. The same can be said of her vitamin line.
