When it comes to thinking about magazines where you can see hot chicks dressed in a skimpy manner, Rolling Stone is not the first one that comes to mind. It was started in San Francisco, way back in 1967, and was meant to be a music magazine back then. It still is, but now it covers all other types of pop culture as well, including movies and politics.

But with all that said, Rolling Stone has had a whole bunch of hotties in its pages, and particularly on its cover. Over the years Rolling Stone has had numerous front page spreads of some really hot ladies, wearing very little clothing. In fact there were so many hot covers featuring sexy celebrities that it was hard to narrow the whole thing down to just 15.

15. The Spice Girls

While a lot of people these days have not heard of The Spice Girls, back then they were a huge deal.  My favorite was always Geri Halliwell, who was known as Ginger Spice, but the most famous one is Posh Spice, who is better known as Victoria Beckham. While this particular photo doesn't show as much skin as some of the others to come, there is no denying that the Spice Girls all look pretty hot in this photo. Well, four of them do anyway.  Hey, four out of five ain't bad for our first entry!

This is hard to believe, but I know some people don't think Fergie is all that hot. I only have one thing to say to them; you are crazy. It's Fergie! Come on! Once upon a time she was a big enough star to be on the cover of one of the biggest music magazines in the world. It didn't hurt that she looks so hot. C'mon guys- no matter what you say, Fergie has it going on.

Well we can't complain too much about this one. Hey look, it's Miranda Kerr, one of the hottest women in the world, and she is naked and chained to a tree. Nothing that anyone would want to see, right? Nah... Miranda is an Australian model that is well known everywhere as being one of the most gorgeous models out there. She has appeared on the cover of numerous magazines over her time, including FHM, Men's Health, and now Rolling Stone can be added to that list.

Okay so this one isn't really all that revealing, but when it is Angelina Jolie it doesn't have to be to get guys going. Angelina is a mega star: she was sexy when she was young, and is just as sexy in her current role as the hottest MILF in the world. You think Brad Pitt slums at all? Heck no. Angelina is and always will be a smoke-show and Rolling Stone was wise to put her on their cover. Those lips though! Seriously hot.

Okay, we all have seen way hotter photos of Jessica Simpson in our day. I mean I bet Nick Lachey keeps a hotter photo of her in his wallet just for old time's sake. Still though, one has to admit it is kind of cool seeing Jessica wearing panties in this one, even if they aren't that sexy. This photo seems like it was taken 100 years ago; could it really be that Jessica has been around that long? Regardless, any cover photo of Jessica is a good one - she is always pretty hot.

10. Brooke Shields

Speaking of always being pretty hot, Brooke Shields was a total babe in her day. She still is pretty lovely, but back then she was a knockout. Which actually was one of the odd things about her. Brooke was the biggest star around when she was still under the age of eighteen, starring in a couple of huge movies and modeling. After that her career went downhill, but for a while she was possibly the biggest female star in the world, and this photo gives you a pretty good idea why.

Megan Fox is always a pleasure to look at. This cover calls her "America's Sexiest Bad Girl" Okay, she is definitely sexy, I will give her that, but last time I checked most bad girls don't get married and have kids with guys that used to be in Beverly Hills 90210 like Megan did with Brian Austin Green.  Still though, she gets tattoos and stuff, so I guess for Hollywood she qualifies as a bad girl. Megan looks great in this cover, which is no surprise of course. She always does.

8. Katy Perry

Speaking of always looking good, check out the cover that featured Katy Perry. Katy is one star who is staying on top of things and keeping in the running for another cover soon. I mean not only is she dating Orlando Bloom, but there are also rumors out there right now that she is actually JonBenet Ramsey. You can check out more on that here. But back before all of this went down, Katy was just a hot chick on the cover of Rolling Stone. Which is good enough for me

Okay, Jennifer Aniston is still hot, there is no doubt about that at all - none whatsoever. But I think the fact that she is still so hot kind of made us forget how hot she used to be, and this cover brings it all back. Jennifer in this photo is an absolute smoke-show. There should be a law against a woman looking this innocent and looking this hot all at the same time.  She looks so gorgeous here, I am sure it made Ross totally jealous.

6. Janet Jackson

There was a period of time when Janet Jackson was making a lot of money and selling a lot of albums. Surprisingly, she also was even a bit of a sex symbol. She was getting so big for a while that people almost forgot about what a total freak her brother was. Just kidding, no one ever forgot that. Regardless Janet is, and was, a very talented and good looking woman, which is illustrated very well by this cover photo of her. I wonder who owns the lucky hands?

Cindy Crawford has long been considered one of the most beautiful women in the entire world. She has been in the public eye for over 30 years, and although she isn't as hot as she once was, she still looks amazing. Speaking of looking amazing, this cover photo of Cindy shows off her looks and body in an incredible way. Although who are we kidding, Cindy is one of those rare women who I am sure look hot mowing the lawn. Actually, now that I think of it, a cover photo of her mowing the lawn would be fabulous.

Alright, so this is an article about the most revealing and the most skin, not necessarily the hottest, and that is a good thing, because Christina just looks kind of silly here. Sure, her body is nice enough, but she is airbrushed like crazy, laying on a bed holding an electric guitar, and she is holding up one of her boobs. This is the total definition of someone trying too hard.  The whole thing just doesn't work the way she, or Rolling Stone thought it would, but hey, at least we kind of know what her body looks like. Kind of.

3. Britney Spears

Oh Britney, you were such a big star at one point, and then you went totally insane, shaved your head and had kids with K-Fed. And then you got divorced and the judge said K-Fed is a better parent than you! I really can't imagine anything much worse, except maybe the caption to your cover "On Justin, that kiss, and being alone." Ouch. Anyway, Britney looks cute here, although I have seen her looking cuter. Just like with Jessica Simpson, they put her in some panties that aren't exactly Granny panties, but not far off either.

This one is a bit understated for Nicki. One would think for a big magazine cover she would really go to town and do something radical. Instead, it is just a serious shot of Nicki looking into the camera. The only thing that really saves it is the boob shot. And what a boob shot it is... To be honest when I look at it I have to keep reminding myself who I am looking at. So in other words, this is a great cover for us men, not so great for anyone trying to remember what her face looks like.

Well, it's Rose McGowan and Rosario Dawson, they are close to naked, they are wearing belts made out of bullets, and their butts are touching. Not much to complain about here. This one also talks about bad girls, but unlike Megan Fox, neither of these two chicks ever got married to anyone in Beverly Hills 90210, unless we count a dream that Ian Ziering had one time.
