TikTok sensation Charli D' Amelio has capitalized on her fame to build a Multimillion business empire. From a simple and standard way of living back in their hometown in Connecticut, she was able to turn her life around make millions in just a span of 2 years. The 17-year-old Charli D' Amelio has first started uploading videos on TikTok in May of 2019. She used to upload videos with friends lip-syncing and dancing to different songs. It did not take long for her to get noticed by the TikTok users because of her beauty and talent. Soon, her content has consistently trended on the platform and often becomes viral videos. These videos further brought her exposure from TikTok users, but she faces her first-ever controversy following her uploaded a video performing a dance Renegade to the song Lottery of K Camp. She was credited for hyping the song to the TikTok users; however, things turned sour as people, later on, called her out when it was revealed that the dance was actually choreographed by Jalaiah Harmon. She received backlash for not crediting Jalaiah Harmon on her video. After the issue, she has begun crediting the creators and choreographers of the dance videos she uploads.

The Journey To Make A Name For Herself
In 2019 she was signed as a contract artist by Outshine Talent, which is being managed by Sony Music executive Barbara Jones. She was invited by Bebe Rexha to perform on Barclays Center in Brooklyn with her as an opening act to the Jonas Brothers in November of the same year. During this time, she has also started her vlogging stint on YouTube, where she started posting content on her everyday life. Things seemed great with her current management; however, less than a year after signing a contract, she moved on to sign with United Talent Agency alongside her entire family in January 2020. The following month, she has appeared in a Super Bowl commercial with other famous celebrities for the Sabra Hummus. In March 2020, she had started campaigning against bullying alongside her sister Dixie and had partnered with UNICEF.
Reaching A Huge Milestone
In November 2020, she received recognition for her fame on TikTok for becoming the first person on the platform to hit 100 Million followers. She also received her first nomination for Social Star at 46th People's Choice Awards. In December 2020, she released her first-ever book called Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real. She received more exposure from here on; she was featured in one episode of the Facebook Messenger series Here for it With Avani Gregg and has won the 10th Streamy Awards for Breakout Creator.
Using Her Fame To Build An Empire
With these achievements on her belt, she was able to build an enterprise with her family, which includes brand partnerships, investments, and media deals.
